The Original Catalogue Of Fine Art Photographs

Elliott created the original catalogue of fine art photographs,
published by a photographer, back in June of 1987. This was, as far as is known, a historical precedent. There was precious little art photography back then and Elliott led the field by decades, having started late Sixties. Elliott pioneered fine art photography way ahead of the pack.

The 12 page booklet was published at Belsize Park NW3 at a cost of £1595, a huge amount of money at the time. According to the Bank Of England over £4,000 today. It was printed in a limited edition of 1,000. It was printed on art paper with a laminated cover. The expense means they still look fine today, 30 years on. Although they are virtually impossible to get.
